We live in a day and age where anything and everything is possible. We have been doing long distance for about 28 months. Sure, we live in different cities and provinces feel closer than ever thanks to video-calls, texting, etc. We just try to communicate as much as possible.

When it comes to our long distance relationship, we are bound to go through a rollercoaster of emotions. We will feel happy, sad, nervous, excited, and sometimes, we can not even describe how we are feeling. We try to find new fun things to do online, or even just over the phone. The funny things are that we chatted on spreadsheets, chat box on google meet but the camera was turned off, we have watched movies online together, and we played scrabble games online. So, we don’t ever feel like we are getting bored. It is hard for people who have not experience long distance relationships to understand the feelings we endure.

Communication can also be difficult to deal with when we are apart, sometimes we feel that our “fights” (which are usually just misunderstandings due to text talk) go on for longer than necessary. However, as mentioned earlier, we don’t let the distance break us. We always fight through the distance.

Until the day when he came with his parents to ask my mother for permission and blessing to marry me. Exactly on the beautiful date of Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022, he will marry me.
